Requirements-Gathering Process

Your Aptude recruiting specialist takes special care to understand your requirements and get a feel for your corporate environment to share with candidates while assessing a potential match. Your responses to “My Company Survey” will help them identify your needs, and, if necessary, they’ll confirm their understanding with a hiring manager.

And because a successful hire meets more than the technical requirements of the job—they also work well within your organization’s culture. In addition to their skill set and experience, we consider a candidate’s working and leadership styles, communication skills, exposure to team-based collaboration, personality, ideal reporting structure, and even their preferred work schedule as important indicators in determining their fit within your organization.

Sourcing Process

Mining the vast field of job-searchers for the best candidates takes an expert’s eye. If we’re unable to find the right people within Aptude’s internal database of thousands of candidates, we turn to the industry’s best sources of talent, including:

- Traditional job boards
- Social media, e.g. LinkedIn
- Networking organizations

When your request calls for highly specialized experience, we’ll employ “headhunting” tactics such as contacting companies with similar technologies to find referrals.

Interviewing Process

Meeting a candidate to discuss their credentials involves far more than delving into the finer points of their resume.

 Job Description Sharing: We take the time to ensure they understand all facets of the opportunity, by:

  • Detailing all requirements of the position
  • Explaining your company’s culture
  • Outlining your expectations

Job Location Review: For positions in unfamiliar geographical areas or for those requiring relocation, we’ll provide information about the job’s location—the community, housing market, school system, etc.

Technical Screen: An Aptude technical expert will confirm that the candidate’s stated experience aligns with the position’s required competencies and that they bring the appropriate technical acumen to the job.    

Reference and Background Checks

Reference Checks: Aptude will communicate with two hiring manager-level references before submitting the candidate to you.

Background Checks: Once a formal offer and acceptance are confirmed, Aptude will provide all necessary/applicable checks, including:

  • Criminal background
  • Financial background
  • International background
  • Formal education background
  • 10-panel drug screening test

Warranty Policy

In the event either party (employer or candidate) terminates their relationship with the employer within the first 90 days of employment, Aptude will refund the placement (no questions asked).
